@KECKERS this will be received well as there had been a level of over hang for BKT on the expectation of a capital raise for a couple of months now.
Iam hearing that the CEO - John De Vries and the new Chairman - Richard Crookes have recently been on the road meeting with a handful of brokers and insto's to introduce the BKT story. I have heard from a few sources that this has been received very well.
With SYR now in production, this is undoubtedly a huge step forward for the Australian listed graphite plays. As to where the forecasted vs realised sales numbers land, only time will tell. I firmly believe that SYR will have the same effect on the broader graphite space as ORE had for the listed lithium players. Whether you are a believer of doubter ORE or SYR, that doesn't matter, what's important is the lessons learned by the sector as a whole and really making sure that you have a product that is in demand by end users and you tap that addressable market.
What we do know is that BKT's project is in the lowest cost quartile with a foretasted cash cost at $378p.t. Show me another junior with a Capex of sub $100mil and an Opex of sub $400p.t. with a product on par to BKT's?
