I'm going to go with the opposite. The SP obviously needs some good news. Investor Relations are accutely aware of that. If the results were bad, they had plenty of time to draft a wishy-washy release that suggested the sample size is still small in the prelim results, that they are still optimistic etc etc and release it friday night after hours. Why put it in a Trading Halt and get everyone looking at you? I'm going to guess the results are positive and they want as many people looking as possible when it gets announced. But then like @Newrotothis I'm also an optimist!!!
