@seuss You cannot do private messages to someone as far as I know but you can 'tag" someone like I have you for this post...if you type @[username] then it will send them a notification (similar to the notification you get when someone gives your post a thumbs up) that says you have been tagged with a message but the message is not private, it can still be seen by everyone.
If you want to get hold of me for something you can get hold of me by asking this grumpy old sock and he might be nice and pass a message through to the bat cave.
