16% is OK although on the high side

apart from this, i am personally unconcerned

the previous slackness of the Tanzanians has caused them to go to another extreme

8 years ago, they let Barrick (Acacia) off the hook and now are paying the price

i posted about this years ago on HC

even the MNS 5% deal was too soft

if they were firm from when the introduced the last legislation in 2010 or so they would not have had these problems with Acacia

the MNS deal should have been 10%

the no free carried provision under US$100M was also good

now its all a mess but it should work out, unfortunately at a cost to smaller miners

in the short term, there will probably be blood on the ASX

i am holding since i ain't really got much choice with BKTOD
