@ddzx 16% free carried interest isn't a deal breaker.

PNG & South Africa have higher levels of free carried interest.

Currently waiting for SA to pass new oil and gas legislation for the wheels to start turning for CEL (currently with a 20% free carried interest built in).

There are quite a few listed companies with exposure to this change in regulatory / operating framework - MNS, ORR, PEK, TRL, KNL, VRT, GPX, CXX, LTR, STA & BKT.

I think it's a good thing that BKT has key personnel on the ground in coming days to seek clarity from the Government. Certainly expecting some further volatility once any of these names resume trading, however Iam a firm believer that this too shall pass & opportunity is there for those who are brave and can be patient.
