Hi "HonestGal".... welcome, and nice to see your very first post is on this particular thread.
You are of course, correct. Brett is (was?) so intimately involved in this mob that he was hurriedly (& very unexpectedly) thrust into chairing last year's AGM - when the rest of the Board of Directors couldn't even be bothered showing up - which was a disgrace in itself!! That was the beginning of the end for me because it demonstrated just how professional they were and how uninterested they were in their shareholders (I was part of the top 20 then).
To say Brett looked embarrassed is an understatement, but to his absolute credit he sat there (along with Neil Inwood) and they answered every question I had (including the curly ones) and they were very open and candid with their answers. Not only that, but after I had written to the Board with specific concerns, it was Brett who took the time to ring me one night and we discussed things for about an hour (from memory). He didn't have to, but I certainly appreciated his insights.
I have written plenty of other posts on the matter so won't repeat here...suffice to say I have no confidence whatsoever in the Cradle Board....especially when it comes to the "real" interest they have in the interests of their shareholders. Self interest comes to mind....
By the way, I am surprised at the lack of awareness of Brett Mitchell. What happened to DYOR?
