you sound a bit confused with my deliberations.

i actually think that global warming is idiocracy, wind and solar is madness, gas is too expensive in infrastructure costs to get it to the power stations, nuclear is way too expensive and people feel really unsafe with it for good reason and coal is the only way for us to go.

now we have Japan taking our coal reserves and developing vast numbers of very efficient coal fired and state of the art power stations.

in OZ, we have a looney lefty called Turnbull who wants 23 % of this renewable mania and Labor who wants double.

basically, we are stuffed as we just had a wombat called Finkel who got paid a fortune for delivering absolute nonsense.
it means that electricity price rises due to this lunacy will break the back of us here in OZ as this renewable subsidy mania will continue ad infinitum.

OK- sure i come across as some sort of greenie, but only because Acland, the township and people's lives were destroyed due to greed and the fact remains that the drawdown of bore water was a massive 47 metres.

now on top of that- the pitts created are settling ponds. at best they are overconcentrated brine solutions and at worst -toxic sludge.

ps- sure it's hard for most people to appreciate reality when they have a vested interest, but the only real vested interest should be in your kid's future.
