Well -I'll not guess what instos think overall. However a potential problem for NHC is that their projects could become worth less in their hands than in the hands of somebody else, if these issues lead to comparative more/higher obstacles for NHC against other possible holders of the assets.

If they are under more scrutiny, then rightly or wrongly, it will cost more to get projects up, and the odds of failure will be higher, the opposition of community groups may be greater, and so the value of their assets will be lower, unless divested, all being equal. Their situation is the exact opposite of what they want it to be in the resources industry. Not that I am saying it is ever easy for anybody.
