what amazes me is how we finally get an announcement after the actual news has been doing the rounds for weeks!!!!!

Announcement is all good, I believe... a new investor (which is what the announcement actually states) is coming on board (definitely not Mono's).  However you are right, cant believe they didn't get the new investor to buy on market. board should have done a better deal for current shareholders... They have plenty of cash so more cash signals that TPP is on the hunt for acquisitions. I heard this from a broker, so it should be reliable.

Now for the pub talk (just to be clear is all speculation and not based on any fact):
- AGC (who need miracles) or an international player making a bid for the company..... (not sure I believe in this one)
- Daniel the COO is leaving for greener pastures - remember all of the work and fantastic results have come from Daniel- yet to see input from the current CEO.  (I actually heard this 2 weeks ago from someone who should know- again why it hasn't been announced that the main rain maker is leaving - i am not sure).

All in all, still positive, hopefully they can do something with all that cash - lets hope they don't burn it trying to buy businesses to replace lost turnover... from my mates on site (gorgon), TPP have only a small crew left... a trading update would be nice...

I continue to hold, I think we should see some buying as a result of the new cornerstone investor coming in - if they didn't buy on market,  lets hope they have backers/mates that do.  Hoping for a 23cent price when coming back on, 27 cents when the results come out for another good year...
