A bunch of IPH's lawyer-shareholders have sold stock in the company at $5 a share.
The vending shareholders had Macquarie and Morgans in the market on Monday, seeking bids for 30 million shares from $5 each.
It's understood the book closed at $5.
The same shareholders have put the rest of their stock - another 37 million shares representing about 20 per cent of IPH's issued equity - in voluntary escrow.
The vendor's broker told buyers that they would not seek to sell any more shares until after IPH's first-half results, scheduled for February.
