Scrixy5 - yeah - I agree - you're right UnionPay is better than Baidu, Tencent or Alibaba.
I believe they are also looking to JV with Baidu, Tencent or Alibaba as well, but UnionPay likely has more tangible benefits.
US IPO is the key from here. I wish they would hurry up and just do it!!
The China tech space is complex and ever changing and given there are very few stocks in Australia to get access to this theme most Aussies don't bother -> hence the big valuation discount. Whereas there are lots of US listed China tech companies and the US guys understand the space well (with the usual US bias though!!). NNW would trade up massively on this news in the US. We'll see what happens here!!!
