I disagree to a point. Rights issues are hard work. They remove the certainty of a sophisticated placement. You get the job done in a day not 3 weeks. It's cheaper and less complicated.
I'm not big enough to get a top up at 50c but at least I've been smart enough to buy the last 2 weeks of weakness. Holders can't complain they missed their opportunity. Anyone who spent a few hours valuing this company should know what a gift 50c was, placement or not.
