".....Another Cooper Basin coal-seam gas explorer, Ambassador Oil and Gas, is understood to be close to announcing a farm-in deal for its Cooper Basin ground.
It is believed US shale producer Magnum Hunter Resources is the company that will take a stake in Melbourne-based Ambassador's ground.
This makes Magnum the second company, after Orica, to strike a funding deal for development of CSG ground in the Cooper Basin, which is better known for its conventional and shale-gas potential.
The Cooper CSG is said, by those promoting it, to contain less water than CSG being targeted in Queensland's Surat and Bowen Basins for export through Gladstone....."
