Details on the issue are very vague and it appears to be around cheaper chemicals being used that are open to counterfeiting. From a reading of the SMH article the question arises was the advice of CSIRO involved or did DDT make such a decision on their own. If its the former then surely CSIRO would also be open to any litigation or costs associated with this fiasco. I was sincerely hoping that DDT was about to turn the corner. This episode would appear to put the final nail in the coffin
