    Why isn't free to air viable? I don't know why one would pay for channels when one can get them for free. So then it comes down to programming, and TEN can probably buy programs if it has any money to do so. Many people sit in front of a computer all day @ work, whereas TV has a different "vibe" to it- relaxing, I guess, rather than "doing" as we do on a computer*. It's like saying, will movie theatres survive if we can do some kind of IPTV thing or whatever could come in the future if we could watch new movies from home (drive-ins are dead though :() And people might think everyone will just buy clothes online and retail will shut down. What this is suggesting is that every person will just sit on a computer- watching TV, movies, and buying products- like as if people will never leave their computer screen/ipad/iphone- at work and at home. I think that seems a bit dystopian. Could happen, but it will be dystopian. As o the model, well, maybe people will get sick of user-pays everything, and go for free TV.

    * I don't watch TV, but if I did, I wouldn't pay for it.
