I'm not a holder of MCE but have had it on my watchlist for a while for trading opportunities. Luckily I didn't try and catch the falling knife. Anyway I was just reading the 'Eureka Report' and there is a weekly article about takeover action.
After a table of all the offers on the ASX there is a section titled 'foreshadowed offers'. It lists MCE but in the bidder column it has 'no party' and in the notes it has 'suspended on operational and financial update'.
I came here to see if there was any information on this but to no avail. It seems strange that it is listed as foreshadowed when nothing has been mentioned that I know of in the press or elsewhere.
