Although I did make it to the AGM towards the end of last year, I missed it as I was slightly late and the meeting only lasted for 15 mins. However, I did speak to some of the MOT staff and I also received a call from our new CEO the day after.

MOT are looking at many options including the possibility of moving into mining. So, from what I can gather, that is not inside information and has been discussed openly, certainly from Nov '11 and probably before that.

Has anyone noticed that the MOT website has the 'new website coming soon' tag? Also, there seems to be a new logo. Gone is the Motopia with the mobile used as part of the lettering. Maybe that changed ages ago but I seem to think the 'new' logo is recent! The website was 'changed' some time ago.

It would seem that the recent change to website, change of logo, halt of trading and dumping one of the businesses recently indicates some sort of change is coming. Probably won't help the SP much in the short term but you can't get much lower when you are already on the floor.
