Thanks for your enquiry to Adrian but I think his loyalties may still be to closely connected to Macuarie group.

Prior to joining Charter Hall Adrian was an executive director of Macquarie Capital Funds Limited.

There was an article in Wednesdays AFR by Gretchen Friemann "Charter Hall Down Graded" basically stating that CQO SP is downgraded to hold due to there will be no growth until it changes hands in March. It also stated it expected the bid to succeed because it gives the hedge funds an exit strategy. ie Forget the long term holders I am alright jack.
It also suggests the offer price is low as the REIT sector was poised to move into recovery territory.

I think I will hold a little while longer, hoping for an increased offer from elsewhere, but not really expecting it.
