This one will be interesting but I would not like to be holding my breath. It seems to me:

1. The CYU would have come as a suprise and I think very large disappointment. Whilst I don't have a clear view of the tenement expenditure obligations and where CYU may or may not be obligated, resolving that aspect and honoring tenement commitments will be confronting.

2. The Lady Chandler line about talking to groups including Chinese is I think very poor form... they are probably also talking to the kitchen fridge which may be equally productive ... I'm sure the Directors will keep us informed on a continuing disclosure base.

3. It's difficult to interpret CYU's action other than to conclude that the Pentland project was at least less attractive than whatever else it has in its portfolio...CYU has certainly had a good look.

My assessment of the project (Lady Chandler) is that it looks to have a few issues not the least of which is access to infrastructure and commodities ... I get the impression water is likley to be difficult. The low concentration does not bode well...IMO

All will be revealed today ...maybe...depends on how surprised they were but I would not be reading too much into the repeated word 'China', 'Chinese'...

I truly hope to be wrong.

Not out of the question that they will be suspended until they can get an announcement out which makes some commercial sense. A defining day I suppose!!
