Interesting one team,

"Trading halt is requested pending release of information relating to a share placement".

So what in this.....you don't do a trading halt when you are a financially sound company and looking to issue new shares for simple capital raising purposes. At the end of the day MTU is flush with cash....so this is unlikely. Nor do you do this for issuing shares under dividend reinvestment - which happened recently. So IMO MTU is about to announce a major acquisition and the need to place shares as part fo the purchase agreement.

Any further thoughts?

One day MTU may also become the target!
