First thing I thought when seeing a trading halt without reading it was 'Oh YES the Chinese have decided to buy IFE via buying out TRF, $3 here we come'- YES YES YES. Lol

Yet yes, it does say it is a JV deal with IFE... Not a CR, not a buy out- A JV project.

This can only be good for TRF, not as good as being bought out yet good. As they are the puppet masters of IFE- IMO.

If IFE needs money TRF will give them more and make a ton of money on that investment. As they have with them already and with their investment with ROL. Ian & Co have proved to be geniuses on the negoitating table and with past investments in resource based investments and JV deals.

I hope Ian arranges gaining a larger percentage than 20% of the income on the Iron Ore. In exchange for IFE to be cashed up to move on supplying the Chinese in a speedy manner. Win Win. More win for TRF. IMO.

I would prefer he keeps 100% of the value of the gold mine. As TRF will move on with their mines in a timely manner when they have more income flowing in from the Iron Ore. The faster this happens, the better, the bigger the free ride the better.

In the last 1.5 years Ian & Co have made huge percentages on their investments. I feel this will be good for TRF. They are NOT simply a holding company as many claim. They may even wish to be primary producers of the Ore and take a much bigger percentage. We can hope...

A Director just bought just before the HALT, are they not meant to wait 3 weeks before releasing any price sensitive ANNs. I guess the Director can argue he had no idea of any arrangement that would prove price sensitive for TRF. Yer right.

Anyway this new or ammended JV with IFE will be very interesting read on the 21st... All will be good for TRF IMO. Ian & Co have not steered us wrong to date. Have faith.
