    I do not understand the relevance of what you are stating with "Also - the figures are over 9 years . Companies were not drilling shale wells in this area for 130 years !" ?

    If what you are inferring is that all the drilling in neighboring property in last 9 years is in a deeper formation than what was done until this century so, historical depletion should have little relevance on the neighboring property results , therefore AKK's results should be an analogue of that then you are I feel only partially correct .

    reason is compared with the Eastern neighboring field :
    higher formation will have higher flow rates with AKK plus similar flow rates from lower formation will still result in an over all higher flow rates than the eastern older field
    explained :

    The deviated wells AKK are drilling will likely have rod perforated in at least 3 formations the higher virgin formations (unlike the eastern field drill holes which would have been depleted in the above table ) so potentially a higher flow rate from these formations, plus the deeper formation (niobara from memory ) that would be virgin for both AKK and its eastern neigbour (think it is IOG now ) so would have similar flow rates .
