However gusher is a relative term and filling a 4.5inch pipe 1400ft long in an hour represents over 600 barrels in a day and in this field would indeed be a gusher...the biggest initial IP fate for the neighbours property was 360 Bopd, if Magellan came at that rate it would be a very good start for a first well, getting some much needed cash in early...
As you know shale drilling is more an assembly line manufacturing exercise with the intention of drilling fast enough to keep ahead of the decline curve and it will take a while to get the assembly line up to speed...
