Yes, security monitoring using drone monitoring and tagging targets, smoke blanket screening, security vehicle patrol vehicles and working on highly trained armed personnel across the whole spectrum.
The police can simply not respond in time for a critical emergency or abduction today imho. Someone needs to fill that gap.
