I have just had a refresher look at the 2017 annual report.
I understand Mr Eshmun's defence of Anton Billis on a long-term basis, but I'm having trouble with the level of directors' remuneration for a Board that seldom meets. And, this is on top of reports as to Board attendance at AGMs. I'm too far away from Perth to attend AGMs with only two items to vote on, but what do others say about this?
Plus the related party payments...... HC posters are validly upset and distrustful of transactions with which they are not fully informed. Is it any wonder that investors take a step back and are wary of the little bit that they are told?
I invested in TBR after investigative reports in AFR a few years ago. I'm happy to be a shareholder in such a large gold inventory, however the seemingly private nature of the Board's activities are difficult to swallow and that is why everyone on HC is incensed with the Board, except for Mr Eshmun who is incensed that others raise these issues.
