This is an interesting thread - seems to me that the Takeovers Panel is actually the real regulator with teeth in this town and we are all wasting our time complaining about stuff to ASIC (whom are being proven to be totally useless as a regulator), I bet there are a few disgruntled holders of other real dog stocks on the ASX who would love to have matters sorted out as quickly as this.
The question I have is what legal recourse is open to appeal this decision? And where do the parties go from here? I assume this is a temporary situation and something else legally has to happen in the future?
