“Is this because Tribune has broken the fundamental but unwritten law of our market?
e.g. It is verboten that listed companies manage to increase shareholder value without enriching brokers and other parasites.”
You nailed it. Now we hope that TBR are strong enough to keep those parasites at bay.
The hollier than thou brigade on these threads with their torches, pitchforks and lyching ropes will try their best to help the silver spooners because they are just motivated by greed.
These people think it is normal that NST trades at more than 5x it’s Net Assets. These people and the market think the risk in this situation is fully priced in. What do you think would happen to the NST share price if the US government bans the private ownership of monetary gold again like it did for 41 years from 1933.

What do you think NST’s assets would be worth if the US government offered to cash in private gold at rate of US$1,000/oz. Anything can happen in the future; wars, currency resets and yes gold confiscation.
Because of the astute way the directors of TBR have hoarded gold they have ensured the value of TBR against almost every adverse event.
The silver spooners know this and are moving in for the kill. The silver spooners couldn’t build their own pile of gold, far too hard work for them, so they have decided to just take it through what appears to be a Kangaroo court. Is there a right to appeal the TO panels determination of unacceptable circumstance to higher courts or more appeal judges? What are the procedural rights and how can evidence be challenged? Certainly looks like a case of judge, jury and executioner to me, all wrapped up in a few weeks with no public trial, the Spanish Inquisition would have been hiring from those ranks. Esh
