I think it's fairly safe to say the new directors won't give two spits about anything that has gone on in the last few years. they see a shell plain and simple. what they want one for who can say, but this pvd mob is something along the lines of "a new generation of African oil discovery something something something blah" which immediately makes my spidey senses tingle (and not in a good way).
haven't looked too much at the r and d rebate but wasn't it just we think it should be this much, then turned out they got a ruling where it was more? not sure about the controversy caused by that...
