Did you see their plea to consider something An Honest Mistake?! They do this and its variance, An Oversite, because they and many others been doing this, with no consequences whatsoever, for many many many years.
How many Honest Mistakes does the ASX and ASIC accept before it turns into something that their prosecutor can get their teeth into? How many times before they call it something else?
It appears to be infinite and thats what the Senate inquiry into ASIC effectively found. Staggering incompetence which is sadly, driven by political fears over the how the public would react to endemic corruption inside the Banks and other major institutions.
How many here think that we'll finally see real consequences for this little mess? Despite the noise so far, my hopes are not high, which is why shareholders must take control with this voting opportunity. We can expect no justice from above so it must come from the street!
