I wonder if any of this is causing conflict between Stuart and his dad..
The old man must be livered that his son has destroyed the family name, and the value of his "Order of Australia" award.
There's no way that his dad John could feign ignorance of what's been going on. His signature is on announcements and reports. He was there at the AGM in November last year. If I'm not mistaken, he even lives at the same address. If he wasn't happy with what's been going on, he's had plenty of opportunities to either speak up or do something about it. No, I think father and son are on the same page all the way in this instance. I think the great divide will be between the McAuliffe's and the people they're going to throw under the bus. I'm sure these people must know who they are by now.
Add this one to the earlier list:
- John McAuliffe can just surrender his Order of Australia award and save the investigations team at the Governor General's office having to spend six months wrapping their heads around this mess - saving our tax-payer dollars in the process.
