You'd be hard put to.
As I understand it they have no long term CEO (yet) and the execs. on the board seconded from major shareholders stay far from it.
I've been to Wiluna before won't be going back there in a hurry. i.e. appropriate for a fly in fly out operation that's all. The few mainly aboriginals who reside there do so specifically because it's a fringe location and suits them given the cultural challenge/change they face. It was proposed as a pace to hold people pre- verifiation of their refugee status for coming to Aust. Parallels to my previous statement seemed to be lost on the greens.
To be fair there are numerous mining/ exploration camps in the same category.
For example my my investment in XAM's Khmargtai where the ore is 6m under the Gobi desert.
At least at Wilna it's a salt lake (most often dry) at surface.
In regard to technology changing sure but the're a fair dollop of lack of knowledge and or acknowledgement of it in what I see. You aren't suggesting these technologies appeared over night are you?. For example as a metallurgist the first scoping study make them aware that the ore was full of clay and thus viscous. A good possibility that would slow leaching rate to too problematic to recover. After designing the plant around the problem and cost intially. They now say, hey a good solution is to wash out the clay. The possible solution to that was there before. You may or may not know that similar deposits e.g Yellirie which they based their initial solution on (because WMC did it) have been around since the 70's as have the solutions.
My point is it's easy to baffle people who are not technical by claiming you are and have the answer. However when it's discovered you didn't use much technical specialistion at all just bombast. You just look like the Emperor his his new clothes. That's what we see here.
So what we see here is us being strung along due to low prices. Does it seem reasonable for me (us) to object? Certainly the SP reflects the comment. it's probalby worth 2.7c ATM.
And they're using us like an ATM.
