A very informative write up on a recent investor site visit to Bushveld Minerals' Vametco mine from who I think is the same @Alfacomp that has occasionally posted on this forum.
There is a 3 part review on mining, processing and Bushveld's energy/VRFB company. This gives a quick overview of the steps from digging the magnetite up to selling the final Vanadium product which I feel gives a very good explanation of the whole process. Especially with vanadium being a relatively new and unknown metal that many companies are currently chasing, many (especially on the ASX) which IMO have no hope of ever producing as the criteria that makes a Vanadium resource likely viable is not well understood by investors. The key criteria to a successful resource is clearly apparent to Bushveld and I see TNO (although a long way behind) being able to follow in the same footsteps due to the similarities at this early stage.
The pieces give a great overview to the whole vanadium mining process that I think TNO is aspiring to establish. Many thanks Alfacomp, a fantastic write up that explains the whole general process very well, showing why Bushveld Minerals is very successful and why the Bushveld complex in South Africa is the place to be if you are wanting to search for a vanadium resource that actually has a decent chance to become a producer.
