Just my rookie guess but I'm wondering if sharing the TIVAN IP with SMS means an aggressive takeover of TNG would be a waste of time if SMS is not prepared to work with the new owner?? I wonder if SMS is bound in the agreement to work with TNG no matter who's running it?
Maybe SMS have an out clause if TNG changes owners? Maybe the sale of TNG, without SMS's approval, would break the agreement TNG have with SMS?
Who knows. The more I think about it the more I think how convoluted these agreements must have to be to take in all eventualities!!
Either way gotta think the lawyers must be on top of it as they must do this sort of work all the time?
