Seems ptetty clear that new leader is aware of need to bring the Country forward through international economic development. He want's to do business....courting UK and EU with stonng connection to BRICS i.e. China/Russia/South Africa etc. So not seeing an issue. Must know full well if he wants stable govt that Zimbabwe international loan commitments must be adhered to.

Not saying he's a Saint but seems very astute he is a Nationalist he is experienced and he did manage to oust Mugabe in a bloodless takeover.

In short it seems he is very pro investment and it is very much in his interest to establish a stable energy sector in the Country.

Further, power plant or not we have a major clean energy resource that is crying out to be developed. I can appreciate your position though. Wariness is a good thing.

I'm interpreting your last post as placing a negative tilt to what I am seeing as a positive article. I think it supports the confidence the BOD is showing in securing a mutually agreeable position with the power plant taking a step up position and employing renewable energy tech. Think about that for a seconf. The "Pres" gets some pretty good International press there doesn't he? Pretty damn good indeed...bringing Zimbabwe into the 21st Century...more I think about it...better it sounds. Lots of Kudos no?

Surprised SP hasn't popped actually but consider market is pretty much sleeping on this one...which is great for anyone wanting to build a position.
