The other day we visited friends and my friend has the model 9 in the Trek Emondo, it's made in USA. $14K new. The actual red one we saw in Le Tour. He got his second hand from a pro for $6K. Included $2K carbon race wheels, which look like they might be Titomic-able (if that's an advantage, dunno).
This gives you an idea of what time consuming bike manufacturing...
