What is my motivation for spending time & energy on keeping up to date with APG, and still posting on Hotcopper when I am no longer a shareholder ??. Habit and personal regard for truth & balance - I suppose.
I was previously an APG shareholder for well over 10 years. Over the last few years of my holding, I became aware of shortcomings in APG management, and began to look more closely at APG reports & announcements. I learnt a lot about APG as a shareholder, and it’s easy to keep up to date – not a lot has changed really.
I can remember bringing up issues, or holding management to account on Hotcopper – and posters were always asking then how I could “be negative” about APG and be a shareholder at the same time. And now I am no longer a shareholder, I am being asked again why I still bother holding management to account.
If management is substandard – it should be brought to account. Simple as that.
I still put the same effort into writing truthful, factual posts now as a non shareholder, as I did when I was a shareholder (and had substantial skin in the game myself.)

As you pointed out, False9 has substantial skin in the game and an obvious interest in holding management to account. On the other hand it must be difficult for False9 to hold management too closely to account – in case someone views that criticism as “negative” and the shareprice falls, and people lose some skin.
