I'm going to do some calculations: Suppose the company gives a dividend of $10 million/507 million shares =0.02c per share That's quite a lot of money, hard too see it happening before merger.
The management/board are probably saving it (as usual) to give themselves and the new merger management/board members, if merger actually occurs, a pay rise as they always have done over the years rather than decently increasing the share price for us shareholders.
