If you add, say, 2000 tons if spherical graphite to battery manufacturers at around $5,000 per ton ($10m) and 2000 tons ROM at $1500 per ton ($3m) - and remember, these are normally quoted in $US - then that's a pretty good return for starters, considering the low capex and opex of MRF's operation compared to many others.
The market for graphene is currently small, but will likely grow fairly quickly from here, when you consider the thousands of researchers working on patents and commercialisation over many fields. (Check Nasa's and other links.)
The timing of MRF's start of production, collaboration with Far Eastern and Imagine IM, looks on the button to me.
I must congratulate the great contributions by posters to these threads (many by relatively new HC members) over recent weeks. It is clear that more and more are long term investors rather than short term traders. There are still a few ST'ers holding who have been "locked in" since the big spike back in late May, but as they get released, sticky fingers are gaining more control.
Steady SP growth over the coming weeks as the news flows is what we want, rather than the spikes related to ST activity.
