@discursive Leaked NSA cybertools, paywalls, prosthetics screwing with facial recognition, androids mimicking person of interest gait, and failing that, a North Korean EMP or old fashioned solar flair.... or too many renewables in the mix. Perhaps fridges, air conditioners or hacked smart meters all participating in modulated DDNS attacks on Google's 8.8.8.8. Perhaps a lack of interest and a return to the satisfaction that only the smell of a printed hard cover novel provides. Go figure.
