Yes and the guidance, while assuming markets holding up, is also assuming some fairly conservative assumptions. their cash/deposits percentage is much higher than the more equity oriented platforms so less vulnerable to a market valuation decline. So I fully expect top end of guidance to be the minimum. It seems this front end rollout is already advanced and pressing ahead. we will see a name change and rebranding of the two together with the common front end website as disclosed sometime in the coming financial year I expect.
They also disclosed they are 99.5% advanced in their pursuit of a retail super arm. Sounds like the deal is done, just last minute items preventing an announcement.
Don Sharp reiterated the board think the share price should be 35-40c rather than 21c.
Someone asked if there was a perceived overhang and Mr Sharp said he did not think there was, CP and other Linear holders are unlikely to sell below their issue price Or until the share price better reflects the value if the business. He drew a number of positive relative comparisons with HUB and Netwealth, saying the market does not seem to appreciate MGP opportunities yet.
