In my opinion the geologist writes something sensible. The MD adds bits (usually embelishments like "exciting", "aggressive"), takes bits out (usually words like "limited", "medium grade", "restricted", "restrained by..."), and the media consultant adds pointless quotes like "Managing Director, Billy Big-Boots says the orebody is truly huge, the highest grade ever, and mining will start tomorrow".
And then it comes back to the competent person for a quick "tick and flick" to the ASX.
