Have any of you actually done the numbers?
250 tonnes of zinc concentrate - not zinc. So lets say its 50% Zn to be really generous.
So its only 125 t of zinc metal, worth about $312,000. But of course they wont get that price as its concentrate, so will only get $250,000 if they are lucky.
Then of course you have to extract the mining and transport costs and then you factor in that they own 60% of this thing!!
Of course the market reacts poorly, those that can actually add up realise this is simply not profitable - unless they multiply this x10 and fast, this company is in trouble.
