The biggest surprise for me was how the ASX allowed ECT to remain suspended until 1 April. This can only mean that other approvals are happening concurrently. It is unlikely the suspension relates to NMDC's internal review process to cause the suspension. After all, haven't they been reviewing the approval process for months?
This statement..."The Company understands that shareholders may be frustrated by these delays however resolution of the timing of approvals is essential to maintaining an orderly and appropriately informed market...imo may also relate to NLC's approval and financial closure approval as well as potentially an extraordinary board meeting by NMDC - all to occur prior to 31 March as previously announced.
At this stage they have not announced that financial closure wont still occur prior to 31 March.
