First thing is you need to be financially independent through revenue to give yourself leverage.
Second you put it all on the line quickly and dictate terms to have control of the deal or get a financial commitment from both parties.
If that fails then you walk from the deal and setup shop on a much smaller scale in Australia and grow from that.
