They needed someone on the ground right at the beginning to get a sense of things and whether or not to leave. Putting someone in this late when they've lost any control or leverage over the deal is a waste of time. I think with the many disconfirming events this company has had, investors are getting the impression that this isn't a goer, no matter what the outcome accepted or not. This impression is principally because ECT pays for operational costs, generates no revenue and because of the proximity of expiring patents.

All just IMO.
