I agree, in that one always needs to maintain an open mind.... and that's in all aspects of life!
As far as the share market goes, one should always be asking what if questions, and have risk management and contingency plans in place.... and very importantly, do some research and snooping around for yourself and not take verbatim anything a poster shares on HC.
With respect to GLN, we will all be on different journeys, and will have different focuses of our research, and our risk management ratings will be very different depending on entry points and our milestone expectations.
I will rarely share what mine are on HC, but in this instance, I will share that my critical risk factor was put to bed when the H1 assays proved there is Li in the brine - that ANN was the making of this company... the H2 results should be the catalyst that starts the valuation process - in other words, the honey that attracts the bees.... so from here on, for me, it's just a journey to see how far GLN can take things from here, ie a TO or go the full hog into production... and I'm happy with either outcome .
When the H2 results come are irrelevant, if it's not this week, it will be in the very near future.
(And yes, I'm not blind that there is a risk the H2 results could be crap, but I've weighed that probability, and guess what, I didn't sell post H1 and believe I'll still be holding post H2.)
So let's put H2 results aside.... I'd like to discuss your inference that I'm in love with management, and/or overlooking any conspiracy theories.
Firstly, I think my husband might be upset if I was in love with management, so I better address that first..... emphatically not!
Do I respect the GLN management team.... well... yes!
But that respect has been earned .... I've researched the company from pre GLN days, understood and supported their strategic refocussing on Hombre Muerto, read every ANN, gone to shareholder meetings, sought them out at industry conferences, and asked them questions and listened to their thoughts and plans for the company.
Actually, it's not so much that I merely respect the GLN team, they are doing exactly what I would have done if I was in their place....
Which brings me to the conspiracy theory of option conversions.... I have absolutely no problem with the options being converted.
It was the management team (and probably fair to say predominantly Clive) that listened to JP's theory and agreed to back that theory... if they hadn't done that, then we wouldn't have GLN to be invested in and talking about! And we need to remember, that many others, for many years, placed no value on Candelas or the other western tenements, so good on them for keeping an open mind !
Perhaps the resource might eventually have been taken up by another group... but then the whole risk profiling and management assessments would not be what we have today, and who knows if any of us would be investing in that enterprise??!
And lastly, I'm not really sure what point you are trying to convey via your comments about TH's and them creating excitement??
Firstly, companies everyday have TH's, and it's pretty common that post these there's increased trading traffic.... because that's essentially what most TH's are about, ie significant news that was always going to cause a ripple of excitement among investors.
In this instance, I can't comment on whether a TH was necessary, cause I don't know what the news is!
But if it is for the H2 assay results, then yes, I would expect a TH.
I can say, that based on my research and analysis of things though, I'm fully expecting a H2 announcement... be it that they've stuck brine with high conductivity, or actual assay results, we shall all have to waiting and see - but my plums tell me it's assay results.
But at the end of the day, what I write, and what you or anyone else writes here on HC makes no difference... the ANN will be what it will be... so I look forward to GLN having the final say
