reading the news on it,  sounds like the opposition party is by name only and the third candidate was expected to win.

A mysterious 7 million votes were found and the token opposition party won, giving drc a token leader until the current guy is eligible again after serving his mandatory break. (2 terms only)

It is early but civil war is still a possibility as this is seen as a sham result by the Catholic church who hold a lot of power.

For the sake of all, hopefully a safe transition of power.
