I was too quick to judge without doing enough background research.

Turns out one of the CT1 Directors (Anoosh Manzoori) is on the board of FGF and I don't think he would be selling out CT1 shareholders to the most predatory bidder imaginable.
Hopefully this capital raising is a fair deal (as I now expect) and does not result in destructive dilution.
