By not filing for bankruptcy, the company would continue to bleed... it needed a large injection of fresh blood to get to 2018 under the current set-up / organization.
The chance of anything left after the restructure for shareholders I would say is better than 20%, its certainly not zero like some are saying.
There is still some chance...
Just have to wait it out..

How long will this take... months IMO
But its not all gone yet - yes it could be, but I am staying hopeful.
