What is a growing major problem? And where / what did you read this startling revelation recently?

Why are you concerned? On whose behalf are you concerned. Do you have any evidence that supports your view that "they" (whomsoever that is) are giving themselves shares?

And possibly "rest bite" was intended to convey respite - yes?

Thanks for the level headed assessment of the situation since last night. alot of us appreciate it. I know I do.
You have to admit though ..the escape goat was the best thing in this thread today.
The rest bite was a simple attempt at humour. I am obviously no comedian.
